Rosemary Nissen-Wade, Aussie poet and teacher of metaphysics: a personal view
My comment (which I tried to post above, but it wouldn't show up) —I love reading on the iPad, where I use iBooks and also the Kindle and Kobo apps, and I sometimes read things in Google Drive (particularly pdf files — though iBooks is good for them too). The only reason I also have a Kobo Mini is that I can't use the iPad in strong sunlight. Also, next time I go on a long trip it will be convenient to have something that stays charged longer than the iPad does.
I bought a Nook Tablet a few years back... I'll be honest, I'm not sold on reading on e-readers, since when I try to read one on a moving vehicle, it makes my eyes go nutty.
I think it's a pretty subjective thing. It seems from the poll that most people prefer e-readers to tablets — but it would have been interesting if they'd had a third category for people who still prefer printed books.
